Demilitarize our streets.

Militarization as a public safety strategy far from bringing us closer to peace,  has generated greater lethality in conflicts and has deepened the detention of painful migrants.

To change this strategy to one that puts people, peace and human rights at the center, we propose a high-level binational strategic working group for the Responsible Demilitarization of civil security tasks, with the participation of civil society and human rights organizations from both countries.
